City Gym's group training program delivers a functional and dynamic variety of 30, 40 and 55 minute workouts across the week, with convenient options to fit your lifestyle and work commitments. Our aim is to provide you with a balanced, full body approach to fitness and well-being.

Stay motivated & achieve your goals faster with City Gym's dynamic and motivating 30, 45 and 55 minute group workouts. There are workouts designed for strength, fitness, core & mobility, suitable for both ,male and female, adaptable to your fitness levels and goals.

Group Training Studio is located on Level 1.

strength

STRENGTH full body workout takes a scientific approach towards each and every workout to change your body, and your attitude towards training. This group barbell program works in allocated time frames with a focus on movement, reps and sets, in a progressive loading format. 

H.I.I.T.

H.I.I.T. involves groups of exercises which are performed in rapid succession for 30 seconds, with a maximum rest period between of no more than 10 seconds. With H.I.I.T. you'll be going like a bat out of hell, achieving better results in less time.

crosstrain

A dynamic and athletic combination workout of barbell strength, cardio drills and core work make this workout an effective way to tone up, increase your fitness and shape your midsection all in the one workout.

Boxing

BOXING is a high calorie-burning activity and a great way melt fat! Engaging every muscle in your body, this high intensity cardio workout focuses on bag or pad work with varied boxing and kicking combinations. Good for abdominal definition, core strength, and relieving stress!

seven:28

SEVEN:28 is seven high intensity drills in a 28 minute workout. Circuit based H.I.I.T. formats using sandbags, battle ropes, kettlebells, TRX, and various cardio and core drills, make it perfect for the time-poor needing a complete workout, in a short time frame. 

HARDCORE

HARDCORE is the ultimate gut buster. A concentrated 30-minute core class that makes sit-ups feel easy! Combined with a well-balanced training schedule that includes resistance and cardio along with clean nutrition this workout is the icing on the cake.

PLYOFIT

A 30 minutes high intensity cardio workout which uses 4 minute body-weight TABATA intervals, combined with 3 minute focused core/recovery intervals to push your body into anaerobic mayhem, creating the hormonal response that speeds up weight loss and shapes lean muscle. Low impact options are provided for those new to H.I.T.

CYCLE

CYCLE is the carbohydrate killer! Intense cardiovascular fitness on a stationary bike using variable resistance will generate the ultimate ride through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training drills. In conjunction with strength training, this workout will assist fat loss. No co-ordination needed.

Find your element and thrive with City Gym’s unique and universal approach to practicing YOGA. Choose from a physically intense fitness-based vinyasa practice in Yoga Fire, ground yourself in strength and stability with Yoga Earth, or completely rest and relax in Yoga Air. There's an element for everyone. 

Yoga studio is located on Level 2.

Yoga Fire

A physically demanding fitness-based vinyasa practice, YOGA FIRE has many of the same benefits of Ashtanga, with dynamic and athletic flow sequences that build internal heat to purify the body. Participants will increase stamina, build strength and flexibility, and reduce stress through synchronizing their breath with their movement.

Yoga Earth

Grounded in strength, stability, precision and awareness, YOGA EARTH pays close attention to anatomical details and the alignment of each posture. In this class poses are often held for long periods of time but can be modified with props. This method is designed to systematically align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Yoga Air

A restorative practice supported by props that allow you to completely rest and relax YOGA AIR involves variations of seated and supine poses that are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes. Slow and long stretches access the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue around the joints and ligaments, which assist in sitting for long periods of time.

KI-YOGA

KI-YOGA adds Chinese and Japanese healing wisdom to India’s ancient yoga tradition. Movements target energy lines, or meridians, related to the body’s organ systems and can contribute to healing in many areas from digestion to stress. Each class includes exercises to build strong belly energy with poses aligned to the changing seasons, breath and voice, partner work, and laughter.
